Jonathan Kuminga scores 27 points in Hawks' debut

by David Leisering | Hawks Correspondent | Wed, Feb 25th 7:14am EST

Jonathan Kuminga made his Hawks' debut on Tuesday night and scored a game-high 27 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3PT, 6-7 FT) and added seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals in Atlanta's 119-98 win over Washington.

Fantasy Impact:

Welcome to Atlanta, Jonathan Kuminga. The fifth-year forward flashed his ability on Tuesday that Golden State was hoping to get on a regular basis. His 27 points were a season-best and he did it in only 24 minutes. To be fair, Jalen Johnson exited in the first quarter and did not return with an injury so it does remain to be seen what Kuminga will do when the Hawks' All-Star logs his full amount of minutes. But, just in case, you may want to see if he is available in your league before it's too late.
