Kevin Durant scores 26 points from 23 shot attempts against New York Nets

Kevin Durant (F - PHO)

On the court for 33 minutes in Thursday night's away game, Kevin Durant went 10-for-23, including 1-for-7 from three-point range. He went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line, pulled down nine rebounds, and contributed seven assists. He also stole the ball three times.

Fantasy Impact
It was a tale of two halves for Durant who went 4-for-11 in the first half, compared with 6-for-12 in the second. Durant struggled against the coverage in the first-half, going 0-for-5 when tightly guarded (defenders <4 feet four away) and 4-for-6 when open (defenders >4 feet away). But he found his mojo by the second half when, despite being tightly guarded, he was 6-for-9. He knows how to adapt to the coverage and continue to put up high numbers that will win the Warriors the game. Expect more of the same against the Detroit Pistons on Friday night.
