For the second time within a week Freddie Freeman hit two home runs in a divisional game. This time against the Miami Marlins, Freeman went 3-for-4 with the two dingers and a two-RBI single.

Ronald Acuna Jr. was hit by the first pitch Thursday in a heated rivalry game against the Miami Marlins. Acuna went on to go 1-for-4 on the evening, striking out once, doubling to center, and scoring one run.

The Atlanta Braves were beaten 9-2 Thursday in Miami. Ender Inciarte walked twice on an 0-for-2 night. Inciarte and the Braves will look to rebound Friday night.

Marietta, Georgia native, Dansby Swanson, made his MLB debut Wednesday night in a loss to the Twins. Swanson went 2-for-4 with two singles and one strikeout.

Freddie Freeman went 1-for-3 in Saturday's loss to the Nationals. His starlike for the game was one R, one H, one RBI, and two BB.

The Atlanta Braves managed to pull off the win on Monday, in the series opener with the Brewers. Markakis contributed two hits, one run scored, and a RBI. He also had one SO.

Erick Aybar went 1-for-2 in Sunday's loss to the Phillies. Aybar was walked once and had one hit. The Braves and Aybar will look to improve on Tuesday versus the Pirates.

The San Diego Padres traded veteran, Matt Kemp, to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Hector Olivera. Kemp stated that it's been a life long dream to play for the Braves. He will make is first start on Tuesday against the Pirates.

The Atlanta Braves fell by a score of 7-5 against the Phillies on Thursday. Ender Inciarte went 1-for-5 on the night. He had one hit and scored one run.

The Braves continue their poor season with another loss on Tuesday. Erick Aybar went 1-for-4 with a 2B.
