Jack Hughes has been shut down for the remainder of the season following a low-grade left MCL sprain. He sustained the injury during a knee-on-knee collision with Oliver Wahlstrom of the New York Islanders. Wahlstrom did not receive any penalty for his actions.

Yegor Sharangovich had a busy night against the New York Rangers, registering a goal on a breakaway following a beautiful takeaway off Jacob Trouba. Besides the goal, which served as New Jersey's lone goal and point of the evening, Sharangovich had 17 penalty minutes due to instigating a fight with Rangers defenseman Braden Schneider following a hard body check. He had a +1 rating as well.

Andrew Copp tallied a secondary assist on Justin Braun's goal in the third period. Copp had one shot, two penalty minutes, and two hits in the victory.

Adam Fox had an assist Tuesday night in a win over the New Jersey Devils, being the secondary helper on Chris Kreider's power play goal. He had one shot, one hit, one block, and two penalty minutes.

Braden Schneider registered an assist on Justin Braun's goal in the third period on Tuesday night. He had a +1 rating, two hits, and five penalty minutes due to a fight with Yegor Sharangovich.

Justin Braun scored a goal on a one-timer to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead against the New Jersey Devils. He had a +1 rating and two hits as well.

Ryan Strome scored a goal on the power play in his return from injury, tying the game up at 1-1. It was his only shot on the night.

Chris Kreider continued to do damage in his typical ways Tuesday night, scoring his trademark tip-in goal on the power play, breaking a franchise record. He also had an assist, four shots, a hit, and a block.

Artemi Panarin had two assists Tuesday night, assisting on two power-play goals from Ryan Strome and Chris Kreider. He finished with one shot as well in the 3-1 win.

Karill Kaprizov scored a goal on five shots, giving his team a chance to win despite the overtime loss.
