Chris Carson returned to Seattle's training camp on Sunday. He had been away from the club for a couple of days dealing with a death in the family. His return is timely in that the first padded practices will take place on Monday.

Laviska Shenault impressing Gardner Minshew in training camp photo
John Reid of the Florida Times-Union reports that Shenault has been impressing his teammates with his play-making ability. Specifically, Gardner Minshew has been impressed with his athleticism, route running and catching ability, saying, ''Laviska is a freak, man. I knew it when we played him at Colorado. He’s a lot better route runner, a lot better at catching the ball than I even expected.''. John Reid also mentioned that Laviska has been leaning on D.J. Chark at training camp as he works to build chemistry with Gardner Minshew.
