Amon-Ra St. Brown has signed a contract extension with the Detroit Lions. This new deal is for four years and $120 million, making him the highest-paid WR in the NFL. (Source: Ian Rapoport)

Fantasy Impact: St. Brown is coming off a season where he ranked as the WR4 in fantasy points per game. This new deal keeps him as a Lion for the long haul, and ensures that you can feel comfortable picking him as a top-seven pick in your drafts this year.

Jayden Daniels hopes to land with either the Las Vegas Raiders or the Minnesota Vikings. He has connections with Raiders coach Antonio Pierce who was with him at Arizona State, on the other hand, playing under Kevin O’Connell sounds appealing. (Source: The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact: Pairing Daniels with one of Davante Adams or Justin Jefferson would be great for fantasy managers, but in all likelihood, the Washington Commanders are staying pat and could select him. If they don’t, New England could as well, but rumor has it that they may trade back, opening the door for teams like Minnesota to move up and get him. A lot will be decided in the next few hours, including Daniels landing spot, be it a preferred team or not.

The Steelers are not expected to pick up the fifth-year option of Justin Fields' contract. He will be entering the final year of his contract next season. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: After being traded by the Bears earlier this offseason, 2024 will be a make-or-break year for Fields. If and when he beats out Russell Wilson for the starting job, he will be extremely fantasy relevant due to his rushing prowess.

The Giants are rumored to be interested in trading up in the 2024 NFL Draft to acquire Drake Maye. They currently hold the sixth overall pick and are looking to move to the third or fourth pick overall to draft Maye. (Source: Jordan Raanan on X)

Fantasy Impact: Should the Giants acquire Maye, it is possible he could be the Giants' starter going into Week 1. The Giants also have the option to help further develop the soon-to-be rookie from North Carolina and have him sit behind Daniel Jones for one year. Regardless if Maye is the starter in Week 1 for the Giants, he would be a risky fantasy pick in 12-team, 1QB leagues due to the substandard offensive ecosystem surrounding him.

Fantasy Impact: It comes as no surprise that the Broncos are picking up the two-time Pro Bowler's fifth-year option. Although the Broncos are looking to add pieces on both sides of the ball, Surtain II remains a tough matchup for opposing wide receivers.

Rashee Rice is facing a multigame suspension over his recent arrest, according to Adam Schefter, who broke down NFL Draft-related news as well as things he has been hearing around the league. (Source: Adam Schefter)

Fantasy Impact: Rice facing a multigame suspension is not what fantasy managers want to hear, as the second-year receiver was poised to have a large role this season. He could drop a few slots in WR rankings as a result of this news.

Xavier Legette was on a call with USA TODAY's John Crumpler and told him that the Panthers had discussed taking him a pick 33 in this week's NFL Draft (Source: John Crumpler)

Fantasy Impact: Legette landing in Carolina would provide another boost for Bryce Young and the Panthers, who acquired Diontae Johnson from the Steelers earlier in the offseason. He would fit very nicely in a receiving room that is missing an X receiver-level talent, and would immediately slot in as a top target earner.

Dare Ogunbowale is signing a one-year deal with the Texans. The 29-year-old RB spent the past two seasons in Houston. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Ogunbowale figures to be the third or fourth RB on this depth chart. His impact will mostly be felt in the special teams game. He may sparingly be used as a pass-catching option on third down as well.

The New England Patriots are reportedly open to trading down but they ate comfortable with the No. 3 pick. (Source: ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact: We are now less than one week away from the NFL Draft. The latest on the Patriots is that they're open to trading down, but they also like the quarterbacks they could select with the No. 3 pick. It is currently a toss-up based on the betting odds as to who the Commanders select No. 2 overall between Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels with Maye recently picking up more steam. It is possible who Washington selects will impact what the Patriots decide to do as they are on the clock.

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said that the team will "need to calculate if there's someone we covet and need to make a run to get to 12, 13." (Source: John Shipley on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: While every team does preliminary work on their options for trading up and trading down, the latter of which Baalke has done in the past, he specifically brought up the 12-14 range in the NFL Draft multiple times in his press conference. That could be an indication of their willingness to move assets for the right player or a talent cutoff on their board. It's unlikely they make a pre-draft trade, but the Jaguars could prepare to move up if the right player is available.
