FantasyPros
With Mark Ingram's departure, many are likely wondering what it means for Kamara, though the acquisition of Latavius Murray tells us a lot. He's likely going to walk into the old Ingram role, though it's important to note that it's no guarantee he's able to fit in this offense. You remember Adrian Peterson with the Saints, right? He was able to go to the Redskins and get it done, so maybe Sean Payton's offense just isn't right for everyone. Because of that, Kamara gets a slight bump in upside which was already high to begin with, as he has finished as the RB3 and RB4 in his first two seasons with Ingram on the roster. When Conner wore down at the end of the 2018 season, did the Steelers get a bit worried? They reached for Benny Snell in the fourth-round, highlighting they clearly felt running back depth was a need. With Antonio Brown and Jesse James gone, there are over 200 targets that have vacated the team, so it's possible Conner can build upon his strong 2018 season. The slight risk of a timeshare knocks him down into the second round, though he's got top-six upside
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Has led RBs in Half-PPR FAN PTS per Touch in each of his first 2 NFL campaigns (min. 200 touches per season) - with Mark Ingram off to BAL, good shot at 1st 300-touch campaignWas No. 8 RB in half-PPR PPG and even though I think he'll lose a few more touches to backup J. Samuels this time around, there'll likely be a few more touches to share with WR A. Brown gone
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
The Saints say Kamara's role won't balloon, but they have to know it should. If he gets the touches he got when Mark Ingram was out last year, look out.The Steelers may not demand Conner to carry the full load, but he's still the main guy where it matters. He's worthy of a 1st rounder and has the upside to be the top back in fantasy if things break just right.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Kamara has seen more than 100 targets in each of his first two seasons, and is a dynamic pass-catcher for a running back. As he did the previous two seasons with Mark Ingram, Kamara is going to cede plenty of work to Latavius Murray, who signed a fairly hefty contract. But Kamara doesn't need 20-plus touches per game to be an elite fantasy option. The offense runs through him, Drew Brees, and Michael Thomas, and it should be more of the same this year. He's one of the truly elite and safe players in the game today.Conner emerged as one of the all-time great draft-day bargains last season after he took over as the Steelers' starting running back once Le'Veon Bell failed to report to the team. He did wonders with the featured role, averaging nearly 21 touches and a touchdown per game in his 13 starts. Although the Steelers offense may not be quite as explosive without Antonio Brown, Conner's ability to succeed as an RB1 is not in doubt. What is in doubt is his workload, as there are rumblings that Jaylen Samuels and/or Benny Snell could significantly cut into Conner's carries. Still, running backs with Conner's fantasy potential are few and far between, and he should still be drafted as an RB1, unless rumors of a significant decrease in workload grow stronger.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
In 2018 Conner had 13 total TDs, 55 receptions, nearly 1,000 rushing yards, and nearly 500 receiving yards, 22 carries+targets per games - and 34% of his carries came against 8+ in the box. @JeffHaseley
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Conner will be a workhorse this season. A Steelers workhorse is someone you want. Please don't overthink this.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Despite missing 3 games last season, Conner ended with 973/12 rushing and 55/497/1 receiving. The Pittsburgh Steelers RB is THE perennial RB you want to own. Don't buy into the Samuels/Snell noise. Even Rashard Mendenhall had back to back years with over 1350 total scrimmage yards and at least 8 TDs. Conner is much better.

Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Kamara has managed to finish as a top five fantasy running back in each season despite only being a workhorse for four games in that stretch. Now that Mark Ingram is gone, there is a chance he runs away with the league lead in fantasy points like Gurley did the last two seasons. With that said, Latavius Murray may jump right into Ingram's role and perhaps even vulture extra touchdowns.Through 10 games last year, Conner was a top-tier fantasy back before slowing down and suffering an injury toward the end of the year. He still has that type of potential, of course, with this Steelers offense but there are talks of the workload being split with Jaylen Samuels or Benny Snell which should keep Conner out of the first round of your fantasy drafts.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Mark Ingram is now out of town and this leaves Kamara the likely leader of the Saints' backfield. While I'm not projecting anything over 215 carries for Kamara, he's going to see as many targets in the receiving game as he can handle. In any form of PPR, Kamara's a top-tier RB1 for your fantasy team in 2019.Conner undoubtedly has the talent to be the workhorse back in Pittsburgh, but seems destined to have Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell eat into the workload. There's still going to be plenty of work going Conner's way and he should be a steady fantasy contributor week in and week out.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
I shouldn't really need to sell you on Kamara, but I'll do so anyways. Kamara has turned in back to back top 4 RB seasons, scoring a jaw dropping 31 TD's over his first two seasons. The crazy part is, he's done so on less than 320 total carries, and still hasn't been over 900 rushing yards. Kamara could finish as the #1 fantasy running back, even if he sees less than 200 carries. There isn't a single other RB you can say that about. He's got the most secure TD floor or any back in football, and he's game script proof thanks to his receiving ability (81 receptions in back to back seasons). I have no problem if you want to draft Kamara first overall. He's that safe and that good.Conner averaged 19.6 half PPR points per game last season. It's worth noting that he averaged 23.5 points per game over his first 8 weeks, then just 12.8 points per game over his final 5. He also had 5 100+ yard rushing performances in those first 8 weeks, then exactly zero games over 65 rushing yards over the last 5 weeks. Part of this was likely due to injuries, but part is also the varience of TD's. He scored 10 TD's over those first 8 weeks, then 3 over his final 5. The 13 total TD's in 13 games is going to regress, and he's now likely to see less of an opportunity share with the emergence of Jaylen Samuels. Furthermore, the offense as a whole is likely to regress in the post AB era. They were 4th in both plays per game and TD's per game last season, both of which are likely to drop this season. Conner isn't a bad pick, there are just so many other good picks
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Kamara is one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL and he has 32 total touchdowns in 31 games. He should continue being an elite fantasy football option.Conner should be the lead back in Pittsburgh in 2019 and as long as he can stay healthy, he should have RB1 value behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.
