One of only 20 NFL players to surpass 120 targets in 2019, Crowder figures to be the top option in the Jets' passing game again in 2020. More of a fantasy option in PPR leagues than he is in leagues that utilize a standard scoring system, he hasn't reached 100 receiving yards in a game since November 2017, when he was catching passes from Kirk Cousins in Washington. When Miller entered December of his rookie season with 29 receptions for 398 yards and five touchdowns over his first 10 NFL games, it seemed as if he was on track to become a key part of Chicago's passing game. He then ended up catching eight passes for 53 yards over his next nine games through the end of last September. His increased usage later in the year was encouraging.
Elisha Twerski
numberFire
When Taylor Gabriel went down last year, Miller posted a 16-game pace of 80 receptions for 1,001 yards and 5 tuddies. That line would've made him the WR25 last season.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Jamison Crowder is the number one receiver in the Jets offense and with Sam Darnold back, the O-line improving and better outside receivers to draw coverage, this is a great opportunity to have a breakout PPR season. His upside really hinges on how many receptions Le'Veon Bell and Chris Herndon steal around the middle of the field and that's why you shouldn't draft him too high, but he is a nice, safe late option.Anthony Miller's enigmatic start to his NFL career continued in 2019 with two massive 100+ yard explosions and a heap of underwhelming single-digit efforts. There's no doubt his continued shoulder issues remain an issue but after another off-season surgery, it's very possible Miller has another slow start. In an offense that surely must be better under Nick Foles, there's a lot of hope Miller will break out in his third season, just know you may have to wait it out a little.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
There were just 24 wide receivers who finished with 110-plus targets last year. Crowder was one of them. He was No. 16, actually. Did you know he's the only one who didn't finish as a top-26 wide receiver? His No. 31 finish was better than most would anticipate, though it was uglier than you'd like it to be. In fact, he produced WR3 or better numbers just 43.8 percent of the time, which ranked 42nd among wide receivers. He also scored fewer than 8.0 PPR points in 43.8 percent of his games. With that being said, he's the only receiver returning to the starting lineup for Sam Darnold. Both Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims are new faces who are going to require time to learn the new offense and develop chemistry with Darnold. Crowder's targets aren't likely to go anywhere. In fact, they might actually go up, which is kind of crazy. Crowder doesn't offer top-15 wide receiver upside, but he does present some stability as a mix-and-match WR3/4 type who presents a solid floor in a pinch. His current ADP of WR49 allows you to get him as your WR5 in some situations, which is fine if you need to add some balance to your high-upside team.Despite playing with Mitch Trubisky, Miller has now seen 139 targets in his first two seasons, compiling 85 receptions for 1,079 yards and nine touchdowns. By comparison, Robert Woods saw 139 targets last year, finishing with 90 receptions for 1,134 yards and two touchdowns. But for whatever reason, Matt Nagy has chosen not to let Miller flourish in the Bears offense. There were just seven games he saw more than three targets. In those seven games, he totaled 42 receptions for 547 yards, and two touchdowns. With Taylor Gabriel gone, it's very possible that Miller becomes more of a staple in the offense. He's best viewed as a WR4/5-type option with WR3 upside.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Crowder was the 31st-ranked wide receiver in half-PPR formats last year, yet is being drafted as a WR5 this year. And that's despite the fact that the Jets have two new receivers who won't be able to develop chemistry with Sam Darnold in any preseason games, with Denzel Mims suffering from a hamstring injury to boot. Crowder is never going to pop - his average depth of target is too low and he isn't a huge end zone threat. So yes, his ceiling will be limited. But his floor is extremely high, and he should greatly outperform his draft position. If you take Miller's final six games of the fantasy season, he had 34 catches for 433 yards, which prorates out to a 90-catch, 1154-yard line over a full season. Although he only caught two touchdown passes last year, he caught seven the prior season, so he's due for some positive regression. He's coming off shoulder surgery again, but so long as he's healthy, and especially if Nick Foles (who loves to target slot receivers) wins the starting quarterback job, Miller should be in for a fine year.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Every year it seems like Jamison Crowder is supposed to really break out but it just never happens. He has some solid games but he's extremely reliant on target share. With the Jets adding Breshad Perriman and rookie Denzel Mims this offseason, Crowder has more competition than ever. He's a solid bench WR in PPR and gets a major downgrade in standard leagues. After a strong rookie season in which Miller scored seven TDs, he regressed in year two scoring only two times and never seeming to get on the same page as QB Mitchell Trubisky. He still seems to be the WR2 in Chicago which is a plus but it's not like the Bears passing offense is one you're dying to be a part of. I see Miller as a WR4 with a sliver of upside depending on who starts at QB for the Bears.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Jamison Crowder is under drafted every season, and should be a solid WR3 again this season. He was 14th in target share in 2019 and that should not change much. Furthermore, Gase utilizes his slot receiver in the end zone more than any other position. Sign me up for Crowder.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Crowder's not exactly the most exciting pick, but he's proven that he can be extremely productive in this offense. This season, Crowder has Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims as competition for targets and neither of them are going to be extremely reliable right away. Sam Darnold trusts Crowder and we could see him return value yet again in 2020. It's not the most exciting pick, but it's a smart pick.Miller was fantastic his rookie season in Chicago, but took a big step backwards last year with the offensive struggles. Additionally, Miller has struggled with a shoulder issue for quite some time now that kept recurring last season. This season though, Miller should get back on track and should easily be second on this team in targets. The offense can only go up from where it was last year and Miller should see plenty of scoring opportunities as well. He's a great pick in the mid-rounds of your draft.

His week 1 in 2019 summed up the type of production you can expect from guys like him perfectly. 17 targets, 14 receptions, for 99 yards. A solid 90th in YPC. His target competition will be greater than Demaryius Thomas being 4th on the team in targets this year. Mims, Perriman, and Herndon will all be bigger threats to Crowder than anything he had last year. Even if we think he still reaches 100 targets, it took 122 to barely be flex worthy in 2019. Lets look at some things he's bad at: 84th in YPR and Yards per Target, 50th in catch rate, 91st in AVG target distance, 72nd in target separation, 54th in drop rate, 70th in fantasy points per target.Going into his age 26 season, just a year younger than teammate Allen Robinson. We have the assumption that Nagy would like to use his TE more. Burton had 94 targets in 2018 but hasn't been able to stay on the field. Jimmy Graham comes in, along with rookie Cole Kmet. Miller should still have a clear path to targets if he can take it. Has struggled with shoulder injuries, having surgeries each year, his route running is good.
