Has 130 more catches, 951 more rec. yards and 11 more TD grabs than any other WR over past five seasons - can write his expected line - 100+ catches, 1,500+ yards, 8+ TDs - in penIf you throw it in his area, he's gonna get it, a trait that has allowed him to thrive despite some awful QBs in his career - failed to top 50 yards just once in '17, and was easily top scoring fantasy WR in span of QB D. Watson's starts (Weeks 2-8)
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
My overall ranking might be too low on the No. 1 wide receiver who has now finished inside the top-three at his position in each of the last four years, but passing on a volume running back is hard to do. Brown is as consistent as they come, as he's now posted at least WR2 numbers in 57 of his last 77 games, which amounts to 74 percent of the time. The only wide receivers who were able to accomplish that in just one year (2017) were Deandre Hopkins and Michael Thomas. He's the No. 1 wide receiver and it's not even debatable at this point. He's like a fine wine that gets better with age. If you want to take him as the third player off the board, there's no issue with that. There are a lot of fantasy football owners going gaga over Hopkins in 2018, but I'd warn you to proceed with caution. Not only did the Texans throw a lot more than they wanted to in 2017 because of all the injuries on the defensive side of the ball, but the 9.3 percent touchdown rate by Deshaun Watson is completely inflated. While Hopkins remains one of the safest wide receivers due to his volume, you don't want to pay for last year's performance. Don't forget that he finished as the WR36 in 2016 while seeing 151 targets. I get it, Watson is better than what he's had, but temper those expectations. There were an incredible 10 games where Hopkins saw 11 or more targets in 2017, while no other wide receiver totaled more than eight of those games.

QB List
In my heart of hearts I really wanted DeAndre Hopkins to usurp Brown for the #1 spot but it just couldn't happen this year. The consensus #1 fantasy receiver for what has seemed like forever now (only 4 years), Brown combines a monstrous target share with truly elite route running and hands to possess the highest realistic weekly upside of any receiver. While James Washington attempts to fill the hole Martavis Bryant left, Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster will be sure to shoulder more of the target load for an explosive Steelers offense. The only downside on Brown lies in Ben Roethlisberger's more than questionable health, but Brown's upside trumps any concerns one would have long-term.Close behind (as all players seem to be in the top 5) is DeAndre Hopkins, who ended last season as the #1 scoring WR in standard leagues and one point behind in standard PPR leagues. If you've ever watched the H-Town stud play, you know what he brings to the table each week. Oddly enough, Hopkins posted his greatest production following Deshaun Watson's ACL injury as he was leaned on as (even more of) the heart of the Houston offense. What keeps Hopkins at #2 behind Brown, however, is two-fold: 1) his target share with Watson on the field might not be as bloated as it was with Watson off, especially considering Will Fuller's expanded role in the offense when he was healthy, and 2) Watson still needs to replicate last year's magic on a healthy knee, and if he's not the QB, then who will?. While both are minor, in my eyes, these concerns outweigh those of fantasy pallbearer Antonio Brown.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Brown beats out the other top receivers due to his consistency and extremely high floor. Beckham and Hopkins have just as much upside as Brown, but they just haven't proven they have that consistency yet.Nuk has had bad luck with quarterbacks, but last season, he still put up huge numbers with rotten quarterback play, while also showing that a healthy DeShaun Watson can only help him.
Jody Smith
FantasyPros
No need to overthink this: Brown is about as safe a bet as there is in fantasy football. Worthy of No. 1 overall status, Brown is an excellent value anywhere after the No. 4 pick. TD prowess gives him the edge over Julio Jones, but Hopkins is likely to see a slight decline in target share in an improved Texans' offense.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
There may not be a safer fantasy investment than Brown, who remarkably topped all receivers in PPR scoring for the fourth straight season despite missing two games. He has averaged 116 catches and 1,596 yards per season since 2013, when he finished a paltry third. For good measure he torched an elite Jaguars secondary (7-132-2 TDs) in a postseason shootout. Anyone who doesn't peg the future Hall of Famer as the undisputed top WR (and top-five overall choice in all formats) is probably is just eager to be a contrarian at any cost. After struggling to overcome dismal QB play in 2017, Hopkins reminded everyone that he's an elite talent. He snagged 35 of 76 targets for 606 yards and seven TDs in seven games with Deshaun Watson before finishing with an NFL-high 174 targets, 13 receiving TDs, and WR1 finish in standard formats. (Antonio Brown beat him by 0.5 point in PPR.) He could have inflicted more damage if not for drawing 11 defensive pass interference calls spanning 155 yards. Playing a full season with Watson will net video-game numbers for Nuk, the second-ranked WR behind Brown in all formats.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
He's been a top 3 WR for the past four years.DeAndre Hopkins' 16 game pace w/ Watson last year: 106 rec - 1,452 yds - 17 TDs
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
He's still the best in the game until proven otherwise. Draft accordingly.Nuk should benefit immensely from competent QB play for a full year. He's in the #1 WR discussion but more of a 1B for me.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
If you are looking for safety in the first round, you'll find much more of it in Brown than any of the running backs. He has been a top three wideout each of the past four seasons and is as durable as they come.Hopkins was excellent even after Watson's injury last season and they didn't do enough this off-season that fantasy owners should be threatened about his target share. With that said, reaching 13 touchdowns again is unlikely.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Brown averaged a league-leading 14.8 fantasy points per game among fantasy receivers and he should continue to be a fantasy star in 2018. Hopkins was right behind Brown in fantasy points per game among receivers at 14.4 points per game and if QB Deshaun Watson returns at 100% health, Hopkins could challenge Brown for that top spot.
