FantasyPros
Last year, Brown was only the #12 VBD player overall after finishing #1 in 2015, as running back depth took a huge hit and his yardage dropped 550 from the year before. If Big Ben can stay upright, we should see him return to the top 5 this year so he is well worth a high first investment.Julio is #1 in NFL history with 96.3 yards per game. With that being said, he is an increased injury risk over Brown and Beckham, plus he has been known to disappear from games at times. Still, he is as good of a bet as anyone not named Antonio Brown, so pull the trigger at #4 overall and cross your fingers for health.

He's the best, but he has a higher likelihood of losing his QB due to injury. Remember, when you draft a WR, you're also drafting his QB.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It's now four straight seasons where Brown has finished as a top-seven wide receiver, including two seasons as the No. 1 receiver. He's averaged 1,579 yards and 10.8 touchdowns in that span, and keep in mind that he posted his two best seasons while Martavis Bryant was on the field with him.Losing Kyle Shanahan isn't going to help a lot of the skill-position players, but Jones is the exception here. Prior to the 2016 season, Jones averaged 11.8 targets per game from 2013-2015. That number went down to 9.2 targets last year and he missed two games, yet he still managed to finish as the No. 6 fantasy receiver. If he puts together a complete season and is used in the red zone, Jones can write fantasy records. He's that good.

WalterFootball
Brown had a down year for him, but there wasn't much room for him to exceed his previous three fantasy finishes. He's still easily in the top-wide receiver conversation and even the top-overall-pick conversation, as the Steelers' offense should remain strong.Jones is the best receiver in the league when healthy, but continues to go down with injuries. They are frequent enough that I'm dropping him a bit from where he should be picked.

5th Down Fantasy
Pretty great "down" year for Brown in 2016 (106/1,284/12) in 15 games; most durable and highest floor of the top tier WRs.Targets dropped from 203 to 129, but was first with 10.7 YPT and second with 17.0 YPC; still team's top target by miles; has topped 10 TD just once in career.
Staff Rankings
QB List
I don't know that I have to do much convincing to tell you that Brown is the best wide receiver in football, and probably the best player in fantasy football. His 2015 stats were insane, and while his stats went down a little in 2016, he still finished the year with 106 catches, 1,284 yards, and 12 touchdowns, and that was in a season that Ben Roethlisberger missed time. He's a no-brainer top pick.Once again Julio lit it up last year, but the thing that's really stopped him from surpassing Antonio Brown as the top wide receiver in football has been the touchdowns. He's only had double-digit touchdowns once in his entire career. You could also make the argument that the Falcons offense is due for a slide considering Kyle Shanahan is gone, but Julio has produced no matter what, and I think he'll continue to do that this year.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
He's still probably the most talented WR in the league and missed the #1 spot by 7 fantasy pts last yearThe TDs never seem to be there so as good as he is, Jones probably isn't the # guy
Brandon Funston
Fantasy Spin
If Big Ben hadn't missed 2 games, and if Brown hadn't missed his 1st game since '12, we'd likely be talking about him finishing as the top fantasy WR for his 3rd straight season - as it was, his No. 3 WR finish in '16 still wasn't too shabbyJones is what you'd get if you put a group of NFL scouts in a science lab to build the perfect WR beast - Given a full 16-game slate, he's a near lock for 100 catches and 1,500 yards, but he's only scored an average of 7 TDs per 16 games over the past 4 seasons, which is baffling - new OC Sarkisian is looking to boost JJ's Red Zone numbers (just 55th among WRs in '16 w/ 5 RZ catches), and if successful, Jones would have No. 1 overall fantasy WR upside

Only an injury to Ben Roethlisberger will slow down AB 84. Auction Value $40 Nagging foot injuries leave Julio lower on my board than most; still may be pound for pound the best player in NFL. Auction Value $32

Guaranteed top-5 WR, baring injury. They need to give him more end-zone targets
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Brown has been 1st, 1st and 3rd among fantasy receivers the last 3 years and he should continue to be the most consistent fantasy receiver.Jones missed 2 games with injury and he was limited in several others, but he still finished with 83 receptions for 1,409 yards and 6 touchdowns. I think the emergence of young running backs will knock him out of the 1st round in fantasy drafts, but he is still a very productive player.
