If it's possible for a player to be on every single fantasy owner's breakout list, then Godwin is your guy. Although his production slowed after his hot start last year, the departure of both Adam Humphries and DeSean Jackson opens up plenty of opportunities. Add to that Bruce Arians gushing about Godwin's ability to play out of the slot and you have all the makings of a big season. But you'll need to pay for Godwin at this point if you want him.Whether you want to believe in Ingram or you don't, you have plenty of ammunition. Those looking to buy can point to the fact that he averaged over 4.5 yards per carry over each of the last four seasons and will now play in a Greg Roman offense that will likely lead the league in rushing attempts. Those avoiding Ingram can point to his age (29), his PED suspension, and the fact that in each of the last three years, the lead running back for the Ravens at the start of the year as lost his job. Your best bet is to go somewhere in between - buy Ingram as a likely low-end RB2, but have depth at running back if you draft him.

DraftWize
Godwin kicked into the slot all four times the Bucs went to a 3-WR formation. That slot-plus role is the same way Bruce Arians coaxed monster seasons out of Hines Ward and Larry Fitzgerald in previous stops. Already armed with unique talent and the nut situation (no running game, no viable No 3 WR, leaky defense, aggressive quarterback, plus scheme), Godwin's chances of fulfilling lofty expectations this season are rising. @AdamLevitan Jameis Winston has played 22 snaps this preseason. Chris Godwin been on field for all 22, in slot for eight of them.Mark Ingram is one of my main targets this season in redraft. Justice Hill is mostly an analyst-fueled hype machine at this point and the coaches have shown little inclination to use him how most hoped. There's a good chance Ingram sees 18+ touches per game. @ConnorAllenNFL
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Might be the leader in preseason buzz - 179 targets up for grabs with D-Jax, Humphries gone - he's in line for a can't fail amount of targets in a pass-rich offenseHe's a proven, productive 3-down back that will take on a lead role for what should be one of the most run-heavy teams (again) - decent shot at 250+ touches
Bart Wheeler
Hail to Fantasy Football
I'm buying into the hype train, as long as he can stay healthy. Into my top-20 WRs.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Godwin was a real bright spot on this offense, posting 59 receptions for 842 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was the 25th ranked fantasy receiver last year and he has a ton of upside this year in Bruce Arian's offense that should see him have a major role. I think Godwin will evolve into one of the Top-10 fantasy receivers in the NFL.Ingram should be a nice addition to the Ravens running game and he will be the lead back in the committee. His signing really hurts the fantasy value for Gus Edwards, but Edwards should still have a role and he is probably going to be only a RB3 in 2019.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Arians also loves his Slot WRs. Hines Ward was amazing for Pittsburgh in the slot and Fitzgerald was magnificent for Arizona in the slot. Even Donnie Avery in the slot in 2012 on the colts put up a 60/781/3 line with Reggie Wayne AND TY Hilton on the team! The upside here is huge.Lamar Jackson had around 14-20 rushes per game last season whereas whereas the Baltimore RBs COMBINED for around 20-28. That certainly leaves some room for production, but how many targets can we expect Ingram to see? With Hill, Gus the Bus, and even Dixon in the mix, Ingram will likely be more TD-dependent than expected.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Ingram is up there in age and has never really had a backfield to himself, however there is a lot of potential in an offense that may break rush attempt records. He is in line to be the lead back and barring health, should see over 250 rush attempts.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
The hype on Godwin has reached its peak, as he's expected to make a splash in Bruce Arians' new offense. With Mike Evans stealing quite a large share of the targets, you have to wonder just how high the ceiling is for Godwin, as the Bucs are likely going to run the ball a bit more under Arians. Godwin is a rock-solid player, but you mustn't forget that he's the No. 2 receiver on his team, and there's also a tight end (O.J. Howard) who deserves a lot of targets by his own right. It's okay to like Godwin in 2019, but keep expectations in checkLeaving the nest of the Saints offense is something Ingram has never had to do, so life may seem a bit more difficult in Baltimore. It's a good thing that they'll be a run-first team with Lamar Jackson under center, but it's also a bad thing around the goal-line, as Jackson is more of a threat to score than Ingram. The Ravens drafted Justice Hill, and still have Kenneth Dixon and Gus Edwards on the roster, so it may be more of a timeshare than some believe, though Ingram should be the leader in the clubhouse. His lack of upside drops him below some of the other options in his range
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Seemingly everyone in the industry loves Godwin to breakout this year and for good reason. He is an immense talent and has the makeup of an elite red zone receiver. The issue is that the price tag has become so high that you will need him to reach that upside in order to justify the cost, and that will be difficult seeing that Mike Evans and O.J. Howard are both on his roster.Ingram has been great in the Saints offense over the last few seasons but that does not mean he will fit well in a different offense, especially as a 30-year-old. Sure, the Ravens brought in Ingram but let's not forget that Gus Edwards was terrific to close the season and the Ravens also drafted the electric Justice Hill. Ingram certainly has RB2 potential, but this is shaping up to be a three-headed monster splitting the workload.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
As per usual, I love Godwin this season. He's an incredible WR, and has produced every time he's been given the opportunity. This is the breakout season we've been waiting for. Jackson and Humphries are now gone, so it's Evans, Howard and Godwin that will be commanding the majority of the targets in Tampa's elite passing game. The return of Arians means great things for this passing attack, which already ranked first in passing yards and 4th in passing TD's per game. As if things needed to get better for Godwin...Arians has talked about using him in the slot! Arians coached the Cardinals from 2013-2017...during that stretch Larry Fitz produced 3 consecutive seasons with 105+ receptions. If Godwin is used in that same role, then he's going to finish as a low end WR 1/ high end WR 2. We've been waiting years for this moment...time to reap the fruits of our labor. My projections absolutely hate Mark Ingram this season. He's going to see very little work in the passing game, and Justice Hill is going to take some of his early down work. This is a great rushing offense though...so he's going to be very efficient on the ground. I just can't justify his current ADP. He's going to get carries and TD's vultured by multiple players, and he won't be able to make up for it with his receiving stats. There are better RB's going in his range, so target them instead.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Chris Godwin will reportedly be stepping into the Larry Fitzgerald role this season in Bruce Arians' system. This will lead to an increased amount of targets for the young and talented wideout, which could mean fantasy gold at his current ADP. The Bucs are going to be airing the ball out this season and Godwin stands to be competing with Mike Evans for the majority of the targets there. Even if we see Godwin's YPR come down, he's still an extremely intriguing fantasy option and is about as solid of a WR2 option as you can get for your team.Mark Ingram is a screaming value at his current ADP. The Ravens have reinforced their offensive philosophy to run the ball this offseason and Ingram is going to be at the center of it all. 220+ carries isn't out of the question for Ingram and there will be running lanes galore for him as defenses attempt to eliminate Lamar Jackson's running abilities. Ingram is the perfect RB to snag in the mid-rounds of your draft and roll out week after week.
