McCaffrey is looking to repeat as the overall PPR RB1 for the first time since 2002-2003 Priest Holmes. McCaffrey had more yards before contact (635) than all but four ENTIRE TEAMS of running backs in 2019. He averaged a robust 2.21 yards before contact, which is something I'd say is unsustainable. @MikeTagliereNFL xxUnderrated aspect of Henry's blistering 8-game stretch (203/1273/11 rushing): not only is it the 2nd-most rushing yards in an 8-game stretch in history, but it comes against teams a combined 24 games above .500. @AdamHarstad

FantasyPros
While it might sound absurd to say, there's a legitimate path for CMC to finish with more receptions this year than what he had in 2019. The Panthers are entering a rebuild and their defense saw a lot of key pieces leave for various reasons. They're going to be relying heavily on rookies and this may lead to the offense needing to keep them in games with more passing volume. If that's the case, McCaffrey's likely going to be second in line behind DJ Moore. With all that said, CMC's as easy of a pick as they come at the 1.01.Derrick Henry was a fantasy football superstar last year and finished the season with 16 rushing touchdowns! While that's unlikely to repeat, he still belongs in the top-tier RB conversation and is a solid pick towards the back end of the first round in your draft.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
New coach, QB may be cause for minor pause on CMC, but after 2nd-best PPR season by RB in NFL history, it's really hard to argue another player at the top spot75+ rush yards in 18 of past 22 games (playoffs inc.) - led NFL in Yards Created (yards gain after 1st evaded tackle) and Yards After Contact/Attempt in 2019
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
You can try to make the argument that McCaffrey shouldn't go No. 1 overall this year, but you'd lose the argument. Outside of saying, "running backs don't repeat as the top option," there's nothing that should suggest McCaffrey won't. He's not just a running back. He's a wide receiver. He scored 182.5 half-PPR points through the air alone, which would've been the No. 20 wide receiver in fantasy last year, ahead of Stefon Diggs. Even if McCaffrey simply stopped playing football in Week 12, he would've finished as the No. 1 running back by a massive 22.1 PPR points. The new offense and improved quarterback play shouldn't hurt at all.Yes, Derrick Henry finished with 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns last year en route to a No. 3 finish. Yes, he was dominant in the playoffs. We still can't forget that he was the No. 14 running back in points per game before Week 10 last year, behind David Johnson and Mark Ingram. Should we automatically assume Henry picks up where he left off in 2019? My issue with Henry is that he's not involved in the passing-game, which lowers his weekly floor. That alone will allow us to choose someone like Alvin Kamara over him. Henry is best-suited as a second-round pick rather than one in the first round.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
McCaffrey would be a RB1 if he didn't catch a single pass, he finished 2019 with 1,387 yards rushing and 15 rushing touchdowns. When you add in 116 receptions for 1,005 yards and 4 more touchdowns, you have the overall number one RB.Henry led the league in rushing yards and finished the season with 1,746 yards and 18 total touchdowns on the season. His historic postseason run led to a franchise tag and with QB Ryan Tannehill back, he should be a RB1 again in 2020.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
3 drops on 23 targets. 2019 was his worst year of passpro according to PFF. Relying on TDs and elite production, strictly from the ground, needing a great oline, requires some big truss.
Steven Pintado
The Fantasy Coaches
Pretty simple guys: Best Overall non QB player. Even with a bad QB, he was still able to dominate the fantasy world. As long as his body can stay healthy he should repeat for the year.
