Lineups
There may not be a player I've been more back-and-forth on this offseason than Henry. On one hand, his 5.1 yards-per-carry on over 300 carries and his 18 touchdowns from scrimmage seem impossible to repeat. On the other hand, though, the Titans locked him up to a lucrative long-term deal and have found their offensive identity by making him the focal point. A full season of Ryan Tannehill will help and Henry is one of the rare players with RB1 upside, regardless of whether or not he catches the ball.Doug Pederson has never run his backfield with a clear-cut workhorse, but he's also never had a running back as talented as Miles Sanders. In his rookie season, Sanders finished as a top-15 PPR running back despite sharing work with Jordan Howard. With Howard now in Miami and no veterans coming in to take his place, Sanders is going to take on a massive role in the Philly offense. As the lead back on a clear

The NFL's leading rusher in 2019, Henry's career-high 5.1 yards per attempt was tops among NFL running backs with more than 140 carries last season. With Dion Lewis having departed, there's a chance that Henry's role in the passing game could increase.Having improved his passing-game skills as his rookie season progressed, Sanders ended up emerging as the lead back in a relatively crowded Philadelphia backfield. He's the clear-cut lead back with Jordan Howard now in Miami.
Elisha Twerski

Henry only had three games in half-PPR formats where he failed to reach double-digit fantasy points last year, compared to nine games with 16+ and seven games with 23+. He finished second in points per game in half-PPR and fourth in full-PPR. Don't let the scoring format scare you.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
2019 was when it finally all came together for Derrick Henry, as he parlayed 303 carries into the rushing title and a RB3 finish in half-ppr. The reaction has been unusual, with a surprising amount of fantasy owners taking a big step back with players like Josh Jacobs, Nick Chubb, Austin Ekeler, Miles Sanders, Kenyan Drake and even Clyde Edwards-Helaire regularly going ahead of Henry for no good reason. Henry remains an absolute stud, especially in non-PPR, with a clear path to another 300 touches and maybe even more receptions. The injury concern appears to be overblown, as Henry has little injury history and all running backs with high volume are a breakdown risk. Ultimately, I'm hopping on the Henry express expecting another big season in 2020.The Miles Sanders hype is growing as he continues to slide up drafts, often going in the first round. This does remind me a lot of Dalvin Cook last year and that's not the worst comp. The key difference is that the Vikings are one-man show with Cook only limited by his fitness while the Eagles steadfastly refuse to go with a true workhorse. If that changes, Sanders could be a league winner, but it's also possible the Eagles return to their pass-first roots and Sanders becomes an RB2. I'm all for the risk, but not at a first round price. There's a heap of high-upside RBs in this area but Sanders is my favorite for a second round gamble. Pair him with a safe option like Henry, Mixon, Chubb or Jacobs and you're golden.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Yes, Derrick Henry finished with 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns last year en route to a No. 3 finish. Yes, he was dominant in the playoffs. We still can't forget that he was the No. 14 running back in points per game before Week 10 last year, behind David Johnson and Mark Ingram. Should we automatically assume Henry picks up where he left off in 2019? My issue with Henry is that he's not involved in the passing-game, which lowers his weekly floor. That alone will allow us to choose someone like Alvin Kamara over him. Henry is best-suited as a second-round pick rather than one in the first round. We all know Doug Pederson has loved his timeshares since coming to the Eagles, and after they moved on from Jordan Howard, many expected them to add a running back in the draft. Things can change, as there are a few free agent running backs out there, but for now, Sanders has the looks of a 15-plus touch running back.
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Lack of passing work is the only thing that keeps Henry out of the top five. Focal point of the Titans offense, gets better with volume. If Pederson commits, Sanders has a chance to finish as a top five back. His ADP is reasonable, and his ceiling is elite
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
How much more would you love Henry if he caught more passes out of the backfield? WOW the possibilities...Coach Pederson has handed the reigns to Sanders and I for one believe in this guy. The longer Carson Wentz stays healthy, the better this guy will be.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
61 players have put up 800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards since 2000. Miles Sanders ranks 61st in total touches of the group. I don't think people understand how impressive his rookie year was. He has the chance to really blow up this season, I am all in.
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Elite rusher. Very limited usage in the receiving game hurts his ceiling and his floor. His 18 TDs are likely to regress as well. Good player, but currently overvalued.Very impressive rookie season in which he was extremely efficient as a receiver. Joins Kamara as the only rookie RB with over 8 YPT on 60 or more targets since 2000. Chance to be an elite RB in fantasy if given workhorse opportunity in Philly.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Henry led the NFL in carries, rushing yards, and touchdowns last season, and continued to smash into the playoffs. With Ryan Tannehill back under center and continuity along the offensive line (other than the swap of Jack Conklin for Isaiah Wilson), there's every reason for Henry to have a big year. He'll never factor in heavily in the passing game so has more value in standard rather than half- or full-PPR formats. But he's a strong RB1 with little risk regardless.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
75+ rush yards in 18 of past 22 games (playoffs inc.) - led NFL in Yards Created (yards gain after 1st evaded tackle) and Yards After Contact/Attempt in 2019Was Top 12 fantasy RB from Weeks 11-17 with workload volume (18.6 touches per) that should carry over as lead RB in 2020
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Henry's breakout 2019 performance caught me by surprise. He was someone I was avoiding and fast forward to this year, he's an automatic RB1. His lack of usage in the passing game still concerns me but if he's running it the way he did in 2019, it won't matter all that much. He deserves to be drafted inside the top 5.Sanders is everybody's favorite breakout candidate in 2020 and I can understand the appeal but I still believe his current ADP is a little too high. He plays in an offense that is known for their usage of multiple backs and he's only started 11 career games, I need to see more out of Sanders before looking at him as an RB1.

Henry is potentially the third safest pick in the first round behind CMC and Zeke due to his expected volume. With Dion Jones' departure, 54 carries and 32 targets need to go somewhere. The only options I see are for those targets to either go to rookie Darrynton Evans, depending on how he performs in training camp, or for Henry to absorb them. I expect the Titans to involve Evans, so you're looking at around 300-320 carries and 20-30 targets for Henry, which is very promising volume in Half-PPR or Standard scoring formats. In PPR, the lack of targets lower Henry's floor somewhat, however, league leading rushing attempts should makeup for the lack of targets as they did last year.

Henry led the league in rushing yards and finished the season with 1,746 yards and 18 total touchdowns on the season. He has a new contract and Ryan Tannehill back under center, which means he should still be a RB1 in 2020.Sanders emerged as the lead back in Philly with 1,327 yards from scrimmage and 6 touchdowns. Philly usually uses a RBBC, which caps his RB1 upside. If they give him lead back duties and he sees 250-275 touches, he could emerge as a RB1 in 2020.

Eagles RBs, although consistently utilized as a RBBC group in the past, have put up the fourth most fantasy points for RBs over the past five seasons. There are fantasy points there for the taking in this offense and a RB who put up 1300 yards in his rookie season is poised to take control of that backfield. Boston Scott and Co.'s potential role in the offense is not even worth mentioning.

Derrick Henry was a fantasy football superstar last year and finished the season with 16 rushing touchdowns! While that's unlikely to repeat, he still belongs in the top-tier RB conversation and is a solid pick towards the back end of the first round in your draft.Sanders seems locked in to be the "main guy" in this backfield at this point of the offseason. While I still believe these other RBs will take away some work, Sanders should see over 270 touches in 2020. He's a high-end RB2 with top-10 upside right now.

Underrated aspect of Henry's blistering 8-game stretch (203/1273/11 rushing): not only is it the 2nd-most rushing yards in an 8-game stretch in history, but it comes against teams a combined 24 games above .500. @AdamHarstadSanders was the RB6 in ppr ppg weeks 9-16 (17.5)

3 drops on 23 targets. 2019 was his worst year of passpro according to PFF. Relying on TDs and elite production, strictly from the ground, needing a great oline, requires some big truss.Being the clear receiving back provides a safe floor(63 targets in 2019). The lack of other pass catching options might've helped his target count but that's a problem for another day. He was able to prove he can be productive with his receptions. He played 52% of the snaps, and this was with Howard missing a bunch of time. Would like to see that playing time increase but on the plus side, was the largest share of playing time since LeSean McCoy in 2014. Would've like to see more decisive cuts behind PFFs best graded run blocking line. Not going to get better with Brooks gone.

Returns to TEN w/ Tannehill also back, and now Dion Lewis gone?! Line beefed up in draft after losing Conklin to Browns. Perfect storm of an offseason for HenryJordan Howard has been removed. No rookie competition added. When Howard was out, Sanders became Pederson's first true horse: 85%, 84%, 87%, 56%, 71%, and 82% of the snaps. This 75% threshold had been crossed only 1 other time in Pederson's 57 previous games. Sanders was the RB3 over this span, and has minimal competition from remaining "The Guy" in 2020. Is Carlos Hyde going to. come in and fuck this all up?
