Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Despite every argument being made that eventually Henry's workload will catch up with him, he's getting better. He's seen his rushing yards increase from 1059 to 1539 to 2027 over the past three seasons. Additionally, he's seen his rushing touchdowns also spike from 12 to 16 to 17 over that same time span. He's proven himself as one of the best and most consistent RBs in the entire league and there's very little reason to start doubting him anytime soon. Until we actually see the wheels fall off of Henry, there's no reason we shouldn't draft him as a top-5 option at the position in fantasy football. The receiving upside isn't there, but you don't need that when you can put up the type of rushing totals that Henry can. From a talent perspective, Saquon Barkley is the best RB in the NFL when he's on the field. Unfortunately, the issue has been staying on the field the past two seasons. Barkley has played 15 out of a possible 32 games, which makes him a very risky investment at the top of your draft. For fantasy managers to have a shot of competing deep into their playoffs, they need their top draft pick to pull their weight all season long. Earlier on in the off-season, Barkley was being drafted as a top-3 option. He's fallen a little bit in ADP, which is more in line with where he should be going. As a late first-round draft pick, the risk is worth the reward. Anything more than that and you're playing with fire.
Mark Ringo
Sleepers and Busts
The Titans trade for Julio is great news for Henry. It forces defenses to pick their poison. If they drop the safety in the box, Tannehill can throw it over the top. If not, it opens up room for Henry to operate. The concerns are: 1.) The heavy workload Henry has accumulated in prior seasons. Sooner or later that catches up to all RBs. 2.) Henry's lack of use in the passing game. He's a power RB, not a Ricky Bobby/Cal Naughton Jr Shake and Bake guy. Those reception points add up. That caps his upside. It's unusual for one dimensional RBs to be in the top tier of RBs in half point and full point PPR formats. That said, if Julio can stay healthy the Titans offense could propel to a whole new level.Saquon's coming off a devastating knee injury. The Giants might ease him back by limiting his touches. Even if they don't, Barkley's running style, which involves plenty of quick stops and starts isn't ideal for an ACL injury. Can he be the same RB? Will he have the same burst of acceleration that made him special? Can he stay healthy? And I speak from personal experience having torn my ACL, albeit 24 years ago. The Giants line isn't very good and the book is still out on QB Daniel Jones. Saquon is too risky in 2021 for me as an early round pick. Note- I heard a prominent fantasy analyst mention on a podcast that Wayne Gallman is Barkley's backup. She was incorrect. Gallman isn't even on the Giants anymore. The backup looks like it's going to be Devontae Booker. With regards to Saquon, let someone else take the chance. Pass

Don't see a reason it won't be a same-as-it-ever-was 300+ carries, 1500+ rush yards, 15-20 TDs for the big fella, and Julio Jones should only help lighten the box for himACL recovery has him on track to play Week 1, though he'll likely be limited - it could take a couple weeks, but should eventually return to heavily featured role

Henry is one of the safest picks in fantasy football due to his durability, workload, and monster numbers. In his five-year career, Henry has missed just two games. Across the last two seasons, he's led the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns twice, led the league in scrimmage yards in 2020, joined the illustrious 2,000-yard club, and won Offensive Player of the Year honors. He's scored double-digit touchdowns three years in a row and is one of only five players in league history with at least two rushing touchdowns of 90+ yards. Henry has averaged 340.5 carries over the last two seasons, and he shows no sign of slowing down. He's a no-brainer top-5 pick but falls outside the top-3 due to lack of involvement as a receiver. He's never caught 20 balls in a single season. It's hard to envision Barkley returning to form as a top-5 fantasy RB, especially since targets may be scarce. New York's receiving corps is crowded, and while Barkley won't fall off the map entirely, a major selling point on top-5 upside is his ability and volume as a receiver. With that volume in question, I'm a little lower on him than consensus.

The man just keeps getting better... Every year he's been in the league, we've watched his rushing yardage go up by at least 250 yards. I'm sure he peaked last year with 2,027 yards on the ground, but now going to a 17-game season, maybe I'm wrong. Henry should be in scoring position quite a bit this year knowing the Titans went out and acquired Julio Jones this offseason. There's no scenario where your offense gets worse in that equation. However, we don't know how the offense is going to look in 2021, as Arthur Smith (offensive coordinator the last two years) is gone. Still, with Jones and A.J. Brown on the perimeter, it's going to be tough for opponents to stack the box the way they have against Henry the last few years, so his efficiency may actually go up. There are certainly some variables to his projections, but Henry has proven that despite his lack of usage in the passing game, he's going to make up for it on the ground. After setting the fantasy world on fire his rookie season with over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, Barkley hasn't exactly lived up to expectations producing 1,535 total yards and eight touchdowns over 15 games the last two seasons. He tore his ACL early in the season, which should give him plenty of time to bounce back, though his violent running style could take a bit longer in recovery, and he only returned to practice in late-August. The Giants suddenly have more weapons than ever in the passing game, so Barkley is unlikely to come close to the 121 targets he saw in 2018, though he should have more scoring opportunities. There is some risk with Barkley at the top of drafts due to his knee, but when on the field, we know he'll produce.

With Julio now here, Henry may see a slight decrease in workload, which should be offset by lighter boxes and even more scoring opportunities. Henry could break football in 2021.Back at practice, Week 1 remains realistic. Only back w/ the upside to challenge CMac

Sheer volume should keep Henry as a solid RB-1 option in all formats this year, with added benefits in non-PPR scoring leagues due to his nature of play. We all know this offense runs through him and while at times inconsistent, Henry has shown multiple years in a row now that he comes through when it matters, both in fantasy and on the field. He should be a top 3 pick in Non-PPR leagues, and potentially 4th or 5th overall otherwise.

Over the past two seasons, playoffs included, "The Big Dog" has more rushing attempts than each of the Texans, Dolphins, and Jaguars. In fact, Henry has 827 total touches dating back to the start of 2019. This kind of insane usage should lead us to think the "cliff" that running backs hit in the modern NFL is coming. Henry, though, has already proven to be an outlier. Investing a top-three pick in him once again this season requires overlooking the departure of OC Arthur Smith and a lack of passing game involvement. These concerns, combined with the recent workload, make Henry a fade for me in full-PPR formats. It's a lonely place to be in fantasy land. The good news is that by the time Week 1 rolls around, Saquon Barkley will have had a full calendar year to recover from his ACL/MCL/meniscus injury that he suffered last September. This is the fantastic as fantasy football is more fun when Barkley is healthy. The bad news? It truly sounds as if the Giants want to limit his workload early on this year, and it's tough to blame them considering Barkley is their franchise player at the moment. I'm also a tad concerned with his ultimate PPR ceiling, as Saquon benefited immensely from Eli "dumpoff" Manning back in 2018. He's still an unquestioned three-down bell cow, but I just don't expect that type of insane usage in the passing game again. Still, f antasy managers should expect Barkley's workload -- and therefore his fantasy value -- to increase as the season moves along.

Henry has led the league in rushing back-to-back seasons and he had 2,027 yards rushing on the ground. He was also second among running backs with 323.6 fantasy points. I am a little worried about the 378 carries last year, but given his size and that he is only 27-years old, he should continue to be dominant in 2021.Injuries capped Barkley's 2019 season and completely derailed his 2020 season as he played only two games. I love Barkley's ability, but he needs to stay healthy if he is going to realize his unlimited potential.

Henry had three games with 200 rushing yards and two touchdowns in 2020. There are just three other running backs (Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, LaDainian Tomlinson) who accomplished that over their entire careers. - @MikeTagliereNFLWill injuries take their toll? Saquon is a great pick for re-draft, but scares me in bestball.

Is this the year that Derrick Henry falls off? Historically, there is a saying in the fantasy world that the 1800 carry mark is where workhorse RBs start to fall off. Henry is not in danger of passing that mark this season, and all other signs point to him still being a beast. In fact, with the loss of main offensive weapons, the Titans will probably lean on him even more than usual this season. King Henry's reign will remain at least 1 season longerOver the last two seasons, Barkley played a total of 15 games combined. The risk of injury is just too great right now for me to take him over some proven guys who stay on the field, even if he is the most talented back in the NFL.

Despite leading the NFL in rushing back to back seasons (a feat accomplished just twice in the last 20 years), Derrick Henry still doesn't get enough credit. While he'll never have the PPR upside of CMC or Dalvin Cook, Henry has two straight seasons of 300+ carries, 16+ TDs. Many are concerned with henry's workload catching up with him, but he's a physical freak of nature and was used sparingly his first two years in the NFL. He's worthy of top 3 overall consideration in all formats, even with low reception totals.
