Fantasy Football Advice
I love Murray this season. Not only does he come with a decent floor being in the Saints offense, but he has just as much upside as a backup RB can have. They signed him to be the Ingram replacement, and that's a role he can excel at. Murray is going to see 9-11 carries per game, and about 2-3 targets per game. He's also going to be used from time to time in the red zone, and will be used more when they pull away from teams. That might not sound enticing, but in the Saints offense he can return low end RB 2 to high end RB 3 numbers with that sort of volume. The reason I want him is the upside if Kamara were to get hurt. Murray would instantly become a RB 1. So he's a solid FLEX option with massive upside. I'll take that upside for where he's going in drafts.Over the last 4 seasons, White has finished as the RB 45/28/41/8. Last season Burkhead was injured for most of the season, and Michel was banged up for part of the year as well. This season Burkhead is back, Sony is healthy for now, and they drafted another RB in Damien Williams. None of these RB's will take White's third down role away, but they will ensure that he sees closer to 50 carries than 100. In 14 games without Gronk in the lineup, White has seen an extra target per game, and a 43% increase in TD's per game. Basically White's fantasy value is going to hinge on his TD's. If he gets lucky and ends up with 12 like last season...then he's going to be a value at his ADP. If he regresses a bit and only gets 7-8 (still a decent amount given his expected total volume) then he's probably going to finish as a pick that neither hurts, nor helps you. If he gets unlucky in the TD department then he's going to be a bust. I typically fade players like this, since I like to leave as little up to luck as possible.

FantasyPros
Remember in 2017 when Alvin Kamara finished #3 and Mark Ingram finished #6 among all half-PPR fantasy running backs? Well, Ingram's average draft position was 46th overall last year even despite a 4-game suspension. He and Kamara proceeded to score 33.0 fantasy points per game combined last year after 32.7 in 2017. The point in saying all this is that Murray is replacing Ingram in one of the most useful roles in fantasy football. He may be a better version, yet is being drafted 45 spots after Ingram was last year, even despite Ingram having a four-game suspension. That doesn't seem smart.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
If Murray lands in the old Mark Ingram role, everyone is too low on him, as he'll offer RB2 numbers more often than not. It's hard to imagine that someone just walks in and fills Ingram's shoes, but the Saints didn't waste any time locking Murray up in free agency, so they clearly viewed him as someone who could do it. You might want to expect a slight bump in touches for Alvin Kamara, while Murray gets slightly less than Ingram did. He's going to be a bit touchdown-dependent, but he's able to fill the RB3 slot on your fantasy team. How are we devaluing White's role on the Patriots again? With Rob Gronkowski, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Chris Hogan gone, Tom Brady is going to be looking for some familiar faces and it's not like they've used Sony Michel in the passing game. White should have a similar role to last year, you know, the one that had him wind-up as the RB8 on the season. We're all still probably too low on him.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
White was a huge part of the Patriots passing game and I would expect that to continue in 2019. He's capable of posting 100 receptions in a season, which gives him enough touches to have RB3 value in standard leagues and RB2 value in PPR leagues.
