What Evans has done throughout his career is no small feat. In his seven seasons in the NFL, Evans has never finished with less than 1,000 receiving yards in any given year. With that being said, he's a roller coaster to have on your fantasy football roster. Last season, Evans had numerous games where he only had one to three receptions, but he was able to come down with a touchdown on several occasions to save his fantasy output. Evans brings some massive upside based on his size, skillset, and talent. However, fantasy managers need consistency from their WRs if they're being drafted at a premium price. There's a possibility that we see Evans move up into the top-12 WRs in ADP by the time draft season rolls around. He'll provide you with some of those week-winning performances, but that's too steep of a price for me to get on board with that unpredictability. My Very Early Projection: 70-973-9 receiving.Julio's now in Tennessee after being shipped off from Atlanta and he's walking into a huge opportunity in this offense. The Titans lost some key receiving weapons in free agency this offseason and Julio could be walking into a significant target share. While it might not be as much as it was in Atlanta due to the overall offensive philosophies and state of the teams, it's still going to be plenty enough to view Julio as a mid-range WR2. The injury concerns are still there, but we know that Jones is going to do everything he can to fight through them. He's worth selecting at his current ADP.

Sleepers and Busts
There are a lot of mouth to feed in Tampa, but also a lot of TDs available from one of the best offenses in the league. Evans should catch a bunch of them. He's a big, physical target in the red zone. Double digit TDs are a good thing in fantasy. Yes please!Julio's trade to the Titans has some good and some bad. The good- the running of Derrick Henry will force teams to make a decision. Do we load up the box to stop the run or double Julio? If they load up the box Tannehill can call a play action and hit Julio on a post. The bad- the Titans were a run oriented offense. Maybe they open things up a bit with Julio in town. but that's not a given. Despite that potential hurdle, there should be plenty of shootouts in the AFC South. If Julio can stay healthy, I think he has a strong year. His current late 3rd round ADP seems cheap. He's still arguably the most talented WR in the NFL.

Evans is never a sexy pick at receiver, but he's gone for 1,000 yards in each of his seven NFL seasons. He's gone for double-digit scores in three of those, including a career-high 13 in 2021. He's finished as a WR1 in four of his last five campaigns, but his career-low 109 targets with Tom Brady under center are concerning. Even so, he should continue to be a red-zone threat, but I'm tempering expectations to a high-end WR2 rather than a sure-fire WR1.Rumors of Jones' demise have been greatly exaggerated, and despite his letdown 2020, he could be in for a bounce-back 2021 campaign. He missed seven games last season, but he missed just four games in six prior seasons. One of the most talented and prolific wideouts of this generation (heck, of all time!) won't just fall off a cliff. He's a midrange WR2.

Tannehill has been hyper-efficient, but this still projects to be one of the more run-heavier offenses so long as Derrick Henry's around, and Julio's already dealing w/ classic dings & pulls in camp

Touchdown Squad
Earlier in Evans' career, I'd avoid him for his week-to-week inconsistency, but ironically he is perhaps the single most consistent player you can draft in all of fantasy football. Evans has now broken his tie with Randy Moss for most 1000+ yard seasons to begin a career in NFL history with 7 (!!) seasons - this ridiculous stat represents his long-term consistency in production and health. Now of course, Evans has his drawbacks as well. Last year, Evans was *extremely* efficient in catch rate and touchdowns to the point where regression towards the mean is inevitable this year. Tampa has also managed to retain every pass-catcher from 2020, while adding Jaelon Darden (rookie), Giovani Bernard as a receiving back (free agency) and OJ Howard (back from injury) who will all consume targets along with probable usage increases for sophomore Tyler Johnson and Antonio Brown, given his elite talent. Even still, this offense very clearly uses Evans as the primary red-zone option, giving him the ability to single-handedly win you weeks. As long you understand Evans may get fewer targets, but the ones he will get are very high-quality, he is an excellent pick as a lower-end WR1 with insane weekly upside, while nonetheless possessing unprecedented year-to-year consistency - you should have supreme confidence drafting him at his current 3rd-round ADP.

Averaged fewest targets and catches per game of career in 1st season with QB Brady, but Brady knows that Evans butters the bread in the red zone - all 9 RZ catches went for TDsSo many questions regarding age, health, target volume - hard to say in a new, very-conservative offense with 2 other alphas (D. Henry, AJ Brown)

FantasyPros
There may be no fantasy wide receiver who's continually undervalued more than Mike Evans. He's now turned in at least 1,000 yards in seven straight seasons with a handful of different quarterbacks, and has scored at least eight touchdowns in five of them. The reason he can't be considered in the elite tier is due to the number of mouths to feed in the Bucs offense. Think about it this way: Despite Chris Godwin being hurt for a while and Antonio Brown not joining the team until mid-season, Evans finished with just 109 targets. He's one of the better WR2's to have in fantasy, but he doesn't come with top-five upside unless there are injuries to those around him.The public perception on Jones is that he's towards the end of his career, but that's simply not true. In fact, he averaged a career-high 11.3 yards per target during the 2020 season and was the WR13 in half-PPR points per game while ceding plenty of work to up-and-coming superstar Calvin Ridley. It'll be a similar situation in Tennessee, as Jones will now play alongside what might be the next generation's Julio Jones, and that's A.J. Brown. Similar to Atlanta, Jones and Brown are going to cap each other's truly elite ceiling, but as Jones and Ridley proved last year, it's certainly not out of the realm of possibilities that they're both top-12 wide receivers, especially when you factor in Ryan Tannehill's efficiency. Oh, and stop calling Jones injury prone - he's played at least 14 games in seven of the last nine seasons, and has totaled at least 1,394 yards in six of the last seven seasons. You don't do that if you're injury prone.

FantasyPros
It was only a matter of time before Jones was dealt from Atlanta after he declared he wanted to leave, and he'll now play in one of the most efficient offenses in the game in Tennessee. Jones was limited to just nine games because of injury last season, but he still showed he's one of the best of the best, setting a career-high with an 11.3 yards per target mark, and again ranking near the top of the league in yards per route run, as he always does. He'll go from a pass-heavy offense to a run-heavy scheme, but there are a ton of targets available after the departures of Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith, and others. Add to that the improvement and efficiency in Tennessee's offense versus Atlanta's, and Jones should be a strong WR2, even if he plays second fiddle to A.J. Brown.

FantasyPros
Mike Evans had only 70 receptions for 1,006 yards, but he dominated the red zone with 13 touchdowns. Evans is a WR2 that could be a WR1 if he duplicates his TD production again in 2021.Jones was a Top-15 fantasy wide receiver when he played in 2020, averaging 13.4 fantasy points per game. The downside, he played only 9 games and he had only 120.6 fantasy points. He now joins a Tennessee team with A.J. Brown and a run-first philosophy. Jones will have some big games, but he is probably more of a WR2 due to durability concerns and offensive scheme.

The Draft Zone
The Bucs' top 3 WRs were healthy together for 10 games last season. In those games Evans lead in targets (73), target share (20.1%), air yards (1004), and end-zone targets (8). Not to mention that he has had 7 straight seasons of at least 1,000 yards and 5 seasons of 8+ TDs.

After playing with one of the most inefficient passers in the league, Matt Ryan (hasn't finished better than 24th in True Throw Value 3 of the last 4 years), Jones now teams up with one of the most efficient passers of the last three seasons, Ryan Tannehill (finished top-2 in TTV l, on a team with the most vacated targets of any squad in the NFL. In two simple words: CHA-CHING. For those worried about his production while sharing the field with A.J. Brown, Jones has shared the field with the likes of Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Calvin Ridley and it hasn't hampered his progress yet. In fact, the plethora of weapons in the passing game (not to mention Derrick Henry in the backfield) should open up even more space for Jones to run free.
