FantasyPros
There are many latching onto what Anderson did at the end of the year to justify him as a rock-solid WR3, but you should be a bit more skeptical. Not only was it a small sample size (four weeks of top-notch production), but he has a new head coach (Adam Gase) who hasn't been kind to fantasy owners. On top of that, the Jets added Le'Veon Bell and Jamison Crowder to the pass-catching corps, which will take away some of the target upside for Anderson. While he's a solid player, you have to wonder if there'll be much consistency from this offenseDespite no Josh Gordon and no Odell Beckham Jr. on the team last year, Landry finished as the WR19 while playing all 16 games and seeing 149 targets. That was the eighth-most targets among receivers and the 27th-most points per game. Not exactly efficient, and Freddie Kitchens actually dialed back his targets when he took over. With Beckham in the mix, look for Landry to move down into the 120-target range, which is still valuable, but he's more of a WR3 than he is a WR2
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Anderson had a disappointing year in 2018 until he and Sam Darnold finally had a connection late in the season, after which Anderson's production skyrocketed. With another year from Darnold and in a better offensive system, there's a path for Anderson to have a monster year. Of course, with Le'Veon Bell and Jamison Crowder on board, and Quincy Enunwa back healthy, there are also many other options for the Jets. Add it all up and Anderson should be a solid WR3 in standard leagues, with room for more.Landry was a disappointment last year, though it's worth noting that his average depth of target was significantly higher than he averaged with the Dolphins. But after Freddie Kitchens took over, Landry's target share was relatively minimal-about 20%-when you consider that he was legitimately the only game in town. But the upside is that with Odell Beckham Jr. in tow and Nick Chubb looking like a breakout candidate, defenses likely won't focus nearly as much on Landry. That puts him at roughly a WR3 with WR2 upside, but there seems to be little chance for stardom.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Anderson is a young player on a young offense with a lot of upside. If he is given the featured role in the offense, he should compete for WR3 status in 2019.Landry should be much more efficient with WR OBJ there to take the defensive attention off of him. He is a WR3 talent that should be much more productive if he is allowed to play in the slot.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
If you are drafting Anderson because you believe Sam Darnold is going to breakout, you may want to be more prudent. If it is because this receiver corps is horrendous, now that's another story. Anderson is a lock to see 100 targets and commonly notches 14+ yards per catch so he is a strong flex play or even WR3.Landry saw 149 targets last year and did next to nothing with them. Now that Odell Beckham is in town, Landry should become nothing more than a weekly flex play.

BRoto Fantasy
Landry finally does not have to be the oft targeted WR1. Only produced 81/976 on 148 targets, grossly inefficient. Was 40th in yards after the catch, which is supposed to be his forte. Was a WR3 despite receiving the 7th most targets of all receivers last season. Should be decent but the ceiling isn't there.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Jarvis Landry underwhelmed entirely last season, checking in at 11th in True Target Value but failing to be anything more than a fringe WR3. If he's more efficient this season, he will return value. However, there is certainly a valid argument to be made that he's just been a volume-based WR throughout his career.

Fantasy Football Advice
I absolutely love Robby Anderson this season. He spoke out at the end of last year and expressed that he was disappointed with his production in his third year (50/752/6). Even this stat line, which we can really consider his floor, resulted in a WR 36 finish. A large reason for Anderson's lack of production last season was injuries. Both he and Darnold missed time due to injuries, finally both getting healthy late in the season. When they were finally healthy, they showed what they are capable of together. Darnold closed the season as the highest graded QB from weeks 14 on, while Anderson was PFF's 3rd highest graded WR, and was 5th in yards per route run over that same stretch (among WR's with at least 25 targets). I expect to see major strides forward in Darnold's second season, and I expect these two to have some really nice weeks together. The Jets offense is going to be fun to watch this season...and Anderson is going to be a big reason for that.Landry is an extremely safe pick, but he lacks any real upside unless injuries were to occur. Landry has a career 10.4 yards per reception, and has been held to 5 or fewer TD's in 4/5 years. Of course anyone could get lucky, but it's less than ideal drafting players who need luck to pay off. The addition of Odell is great for the offense, will sustain drives, and lead to more TD's. So while he's likely to see less overall targets, it might not be that many less, and there will be the most scoring opportunities he's seen in his career. I'm ok drafting Landry in full and half PPR leagues, but I would avoid him in leagues that still use standard scoring. He's not a target, but also not an avoid. Just a guy you can draft if the value presents itself.
