FantasyPros
Lockett showed a lot of promise last year with 57 receptions for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is the lead receiver in Seattle at this point and he should have WR2 upside.Jacobs was in a RBBC at Alabama and he had only 120 caries last year, but he is a very talented back that should earn the lead role in Oakland. He is a high-end RB3 with upside if he can handle a starting running back role in the NFL.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
The loss of Doug Baldwin will surely open up some targets for Lockett, and the best part is that they'll come where he's most effective. Lockett has posted the third-best numbers in the league from the slot over the last two years behind only Tyreek Hill and A.J. Green. In the games that Baldwin missed all/most of in 2018, Lockett played in the slot on 59.4 percent of his snaps. His efficiency will have a hard time remaining as high as it was in 2018, but his increased snaps in the slot can help make up for itAny time you have a running back drafted inside the first round of the NFL Draft, you'd better consider him in fantasy football. Why? Over the last six years, first-round running backs have averaged 283.4 touches in their rookie season. While the Raiders aren't likely to be a high-scoring offense, they should be improved significantly with the talent they've added on offense. Jacobs should be a low-end RB2, at worst
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
He had a perfect passer rating on his targets, and he was No. 1 in FAN PTS per target - with Doug Baldwin gone, he should see a fair amount more targets (100+?) this season as clear go-to guyThere is a massive opportunity share awaiting Jacobs in this OAK offense, both on the ground and through the air
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Lockett really came into his own last year, scoring 10 touchdowns and setting career-highs across the board. With Doug Baldwin gone and with few other (healthy) options at receiver, the Seahawks are likely to lean heavily on Lockett in the passing game. But with how much Seattle runs the ball, Lockett will need to again pile on the touchdowns to come near the value he provided last year. As the No. 1 option with an elite quarterback, however, Lockett is an easy WR2.The Raiders used a first-round pick on Jacobs, so he should see a prominent role in the offense, particularly with Isaiah Crowell suffering a torn Achilles. Jacobs never had a huge workload in college, so it's unclear whether the Raiders intend to use him as a bell-cow back, especially with the re-signing of Doug Martin. Regardless, Jon Gruden's system works well for running backs, and Jacobs' pass-catching ability should give him a high floor each week. He should make a solid RB2 in all formats.

Breaking Football
If Jacobs is going to win the starting job, he's firmly on my radar as a high upside RB2
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Lockett had 965 yards and 10 TDs on ONLY 90 TARGETS last season. Lockett will now mostly to be a slot WR, taking the place of Baldwin (played there 60% last year when Baldwin was out). Lockett led the league with a 89.7 catch% in the slot last season and Doug Baldwin was being drafted in the 2nd/3rd round not too long ago in the same role. Wilson is one of the most efficient passers in the league - 2nd in True Throw Value last season - so give me his #1 WR even in a run-heavy O.The upside - In a dreadful offense last season, Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin, Jalen Richard, and Deandre Washington ran for 1473 yards and 8 TDs. The downside - Richard is still on the team and had 68 catches for 607 yards last season. The Antonio Brown saga is also one to monitor, as having Antonio Brown on the field will obviously benefit the young RB.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Has been told that he will be the workhorse, which makes him an appealing pick, but the Raiders offense line looks to be in bad shape. Riskier than he may seem on the surface.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Lockett had just 70 targets last year and before Baldwin came back, he was the secondary target behind Brandon Marshall. Lockett isn't primary weapon, nor will he likely become one. He is still a WR3, but is being vastly overdrafted with over optimistic expectations about his transition to an entirely different type of receiver. With what seems to be no competition for the job, most anticipate Jacobs to have a huge workload. That may be the case, but we never saw him handle those type of touches or anything close in college, and Jalen Richard likely isn't going away in the passing game. While Jacobs is a safe bet for RB2 production, it might be wise to temper expectations in this offense.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
While underutilized at Alabama, Jacobs constantly displayed the talent that warranted his 1st round selection. He now enters an offense that is committed to running the ball and Jacobs is going to be the centerpiece. He's a well rounded running back and should be an immediate fantasy star right out of the gate.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
Lockett is going to be an interesting player to watch this preseason. I can't tell yet where his ADP ends up, but I have a feeling a lot will depend on how D.K. Metcalf does during the preseason. If Metcalf looks bad, and Lockett is clearly the top option, then I expect his ADP to fall somewhere in the 4th round. If that's the case, then I'll likely pass. He's not a bad pick in that range, but it takes away a lot of his upside. Remember, last season Wilson had a perfect passer rating when targeting him, so there's going to be regression on a per play basis. He currently holds the 25th highest projection according to my model, and I'm comfortable drafting Lockett in the mid to late 5th round. Unfortunately, he's usually not still on the board.Josh Jacobs is an extremely interesting pick this season. At his current ADP, he's a safe pick with a decent amount of upside. I'm cool drafting him in that mid third round range...but I'm afraid his ADP will climb a bit when hard knocks is released. At any rate, we know that he's going to be used as the featured back in this offense. Teams always use their RB's when they take them in the early to mid first round, and this is especially so seeing how Jacobs was drafted with the pick they received in the Mack trade. My current projection on him is around 1,200 total yards, and 6.8 total TD's. That comes out to the 21st highest ranking among RB's. I feel comfortable ranking him higher than the RB 21, though, because of the safety. We know that he's going to be used in all aspects of the game, and we know that this offense is going to improve on its number from last season.
