Like fellow pass catchers Golden Tate and Anquan Boldin, Ebron struggled with drops in Seattle and failed to capitalize working against a secondary missing its best cover safety, Earl Thomas. While the once-highly-touted tight end had his most productive receiving season yet, it's unlikely the narrative about Ebron's incredible athleticism and potential will continue given that he's failed to make a significant impact during his three NFL seasons thus far. While a breakout year is still certainly possible, it's looking more like Ebron won't be much more than a complementary piece in Detroit's offensive game plan and is useful as a fantasy starter in deep leagues only.
