More pass attempts coming for Wilson in 2014?

Russell Wilson (QB - PIT)

Doug Farrar states that a more experienced WR corps, the coaching staff's desire for a 50/50 run pass split, defensive regression, a tougher schedule, and Wilson's own development as a player, point towards an expanded role for Wilson role in 2014. (SI.com)

Fantasy Impact
This can only be a good thing for Wilson's fantasy prospects, as Farrar goes as far as stating "it's easy to picture a scenario in which Wilson becomes the epicenter of Seattle's offense". A 50/50 balance of run and pass would net Wilson approximately 60 more attempts, and while he wouldn't be expected to maintain his exceptional 8.1 yards per attempt average with this added volume, the potential for a spike in fantasy production definitely exists. Wilson was 2012's 9th ranked fantasy QB on a team ranked last in pass attempts, and was 2013's 8th ranked fantasy QB on a team ranked second to last in pass attempts. A boost in volume could see Wilson dramatically exceed his current QB13 (95th overall) ADP.
