Fantasy Impact:
Cooper, a former seventh overall pick of the Cardinals in the 2013 draft, signed with the Cowboys Tuesday. The 27-year-old guard never lived up to his draft position. He was traded to the Patriots before the start of the 2016 season and was waived in October. After a short stint with the Browns, he signed with Dallas as a reserve for the postseason. Due to Doug Free's surprising retirement last week, the Cowboys have a hole at right tackle. If they slide La'el Collins to Free's vacant position, Cooper could end up entering 2017 as one of the team's starting guards.
