Doug Baldwin has sleeper potential

Doug Baldwin (WR - FA)

Baldwin had only 1 catch for 2 yards last Thursday against the Chargers, but was still productive. He had a touchdown catch reversed that was a close call, and also drew a big pass interference penalty that gave the Seahawks the ball on the 1-yard line.

Fantasy Impact
This year Doug Baldwin definitely has some sleeper potential. We all know that Percy Harvin has a big history of injuries, and if one should occur, then Baldwin will be the go-to guy. Last season he snagged 50 catches on 73 targets, to go along with 5 touchdowns. (ESPN.com) With the way the Seahawks love to run the ball I do not see him having that much of an increased role in the offense this year. But I do think that if you draft Harvin, Baldwin should also be on your team as sort of a handcuff. He is more than capable of taking over the lead wide receiver duties if anything should happen to Harvin. But until then I do not think you can really count on him producing for you week to week.
