Cooks will be retained by the Patriots through 2018. They picked up the 23-year-old wideout's fifth-year option over the weekend. Likely viewed as New England's biggest home run hitting threat at receiver, Cooks could be in store for yet another huge year for his fantasy owners. Since the Patriots employ a plethora of notable weapons on offense that includes Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Rob Gronkowski, Malcolm Mitchell, plus, a reliable stable of running backs, Cooks is expected to see the least amount of attention from opposing defensive backs in his career. He is in the mid-range WR1 tier entering the 2017 fantasy draft prep season.
