DeMarco Murray dealing with hand injury

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Jun 8th 1:32pm EDT

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Mularkey told the media running back DeMarco Murray (hand) underwent a procedure to repair a hand injury Thursday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Mularkey added that Murray will wear a cast as a result of the surgery and will be sidelined for mandatory minicamp. However, the 29-year-old running back is expected to be fully recovered for the start of training camp in late July. Murray is slated to open the 2017 season as the Titans' starting RB but could lose touches to Derrick Henry, more so than he had in 2016. Still, the former is the top rusher to target from the Titans for the upcoming fantasy football campaign despite the presumed workload regression.
