Colin Kaepernick to sign with Ravens?

Baltimore Ravens beat writer Jeff Zrebiec is reporting the team is "exploring" the possibility of signing free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick. (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)

Similar to Zrebiec's report, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and Kaepernick have kept in contact over the summer and that there is a mutual interest in a union. To me, this could indicate that Joe Flacco's back injury could be more severe than what is currently being reported. As of now, the Ravens are holding Flacco out for one week. However, there is a possibility that the signal caller could miss an extended amount of time.
