Jamison Crowder the Redskins' No. 2 pass-catching option?

Washington Redskins beat writer Mike Jones believes Jamison Crowder is the team's No. 2 pass catching option behind Jordan Reed. "When Reed returns, the offense will run through him, but until then, Crowder is option No. 1, so it’ll be interesting to see how Cousins and Crowder look from a timing perspective despite limited practice time," Jones said Thursday via the Washington Post. Fantasy Impact:

Despite the addition of Terrelle Pryor and the presumed return of Josh Doctson, Jones is still viewing Crowder as the Redskins' No. 2 pass-catching option behind Reed. That is no surprise as not only is he the longest-tenured notable option now that Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson both left via free agency this offseason, but he is coming off of a career year. While playing in all 16 games in 2016, Crowder accumulated a 67-847-7 stat line as well as a 12.7 YPC average. At his current WR29 ADP, Crowder is a solid upside target in upcoming fantasy drafts. In a new-look receiving corps, he could be in line to surpass his previous career bests in 2017.
