Tyrod Taylor gets vote of confidence from coach

Tyrod Taylor (QB - NYJ)

Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott on Friday said "I have all the confidence in the world in" starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, and that he envisions Taylor as the starter in Week 1. This came a day after Taylor's disturbing performance in Philadelphia, after which McDermott had to clarify he is not considering a change at quarterback to rookie Nathan Peterman. (Joe Buscaglia)

Fantasy Impact
Conversely, fantasy owners should not have confidence in Taylor as a fantasy option. His stock took a significant hit when he lost dynamic playmaker Sammy Watkins, and not only is his new No. 1 wideout, Jordan Matthews, more of a possession receiver, but Matthews' chest injury means he and Taylor likely won't see any game action together until the regular season. If Taylor doesn't adjust well to his new receivers and offense, the rebuilding Bills very well could consider seeing what they have in the rookie before the year is out.
