There has been speculation that Fitzgerald was a target of the Patriots organization for a while now during the offseason. With the mess that New England is right now at WR, this trade makes perfect sense for them. On the Cardinals side, if this trade were to go down, John Brown would see his stock go flying up since he would then be bumped up to the #2 WR in this offense.
