Matt Breida received three carries for nine yards and caught three of his four targets for an additional 20 yards in a thrilling loss to the Rams in Week 3.

Breida had an opportunity to impress as Carlos Hyde missed a little bit of action. Breida failed to impress and was out-carried by fellow running back Raheem Mostert 4-3. It appeared to be a committee between the two while Hyde was out but it was a very small sample size. Mostert did lose a fumble, however, so it may have given the team more trust in Breida going forward. Regardless, Breida should only be rostered in the deepest of leagues and only if you own Hyde.
