Brent Grimes re-signs with Bucs

Sports Illustrated's Mike Silver is reporting that the Buccaneers and cornerback Brent Grimes have agreed on a one-year deal worth up to $10 million. (Mike Silver on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It takes Grimes off the free agent market, as he was one of the better names available at the cornerback position. Coming off a season in which he was one of the lone bright spots on the Bucs defense (particularly the secondary), it was a wonder why he wasn't retained before the legal tampering period began. He allowed just one touchdown on 72 targets in his coverage last season. This move should allow the Bucs to hit some other positions in the draft, though on a one-year deal, they don't have their future aligned at the position.
