Dante Pettis goes to 49ers at pick 44 after trade with Redskins

The Washington Redskins traded the 44th pick in the NFL Draft to the San Francisco 49ers, who selected Washington wide receiver Dante Pettis.
Fantasy Impact:
Pettis projects as a slot wide receiver and a punt returner at the NFL level. The 49ers felt strongly enough about him to move up in the draft to get him, and he is joining a wide receiver depth chart that features Pierre Garcon, Marquise Goodwin, Trent Taylor, and Aldrick Robinson. Look for him to enter training camp competing for the starting slot wide receiver job.
