Taylor Gabriel to have big role in Bears' offense

Taylor Gabriel (WR - FA)

Chicago Tribune Bears writer Brad Biggs thinks that Taylor Gabriel is not only the favorite to land the starting slot receiver job in Chicago, but that the newly-signed free agent will have a "big role" in Matt Nagy's new scheme. (Brad Biggs (Chicago Tribune))

Fantasy Impact
Gabriel mostly played outside receiver in Atlanta, but Biggs thinks that the Bears new staff will give him every opportunity to earn his new four-year $26 million contract. With Allen Robinson a lock to start outside, Gabriel could spend some time opposite of Robinson or move into the slot if Kevin White or Anthony Miller are able to earn bigger roles. Regardless of where he lines up, Gabriel could be a nice late-round sleeper if he does indeed secure a larger role in what is expected to be an innovative Bears passing attack.
