Austin Seferian-Jenkins building strong chemistry with Blake Bortles

Austin Seferian-Jenkins (TE - FA)

Mike Kaye of Jacksonville's First Coast News writes that free-agent addition Austin Seferian-Jenkins has shown a strong chemistry throughout the offseason program with QB Blake Bortles, noting that Seferin-Jenkins appears to be a "massive upgrade when compared to Marcedes Lewis." Lewis, who signed with the Packers, led the Jaguars with five touchdowns last season, mostly on play-action red-zone tosses. According to Kaye, Seferian-Jenkins has added a downfield element to Jacksonville's passing game, which would be a welcomed wrinkle for Blake Bortles, who has consistently hit his new tight end with downfield lobs. Fantasy Impact
Marcedes Lewis was an in-line blocking specialist, where Seferian-Jenkins is a legitimate route runner who caught 50 balls for the Jets last season. ASJ has had issues staying healthy but looks like a nice value pick for the majority of fantasy leaguers who miss out on the "big three" tight ends and choose to go to war with weekly streamers in 2018.
