Taking advantage of Le'Veon Bell's absence, sophomore running back James Conner put on a show against the Packers first-team defense, busting loose for gains of 24 and 26-yards for a touchdown. Conner showed excellent burst and ran through several tacklers. After losing a yard on his first two totes, Conner busted off gains of 8, 24 and the 26-yard house call.
Fantasy Impact
Conner has drawn rave reviews all summer and is getting the chance to prove it as the starter for Pittsburgh's preseason games. Of course, Bell is expected back by Week 1 and his status as a workhorse won't leave many touches for Conner, but the former Pitt star needs to be owned in all dynasty leagues. He could enter next season as the Steelers' starter if Bell is allowed to leave via free agency.
