Panthers QB Cam Newton had a subpar outing in Week 13 against Minnesota. Newton completed 18 of 35 pass attempts for 194 yards with a TD and an INT. He also carried nine times for 49 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Newton has had a bit of a disappointing season and his performance against the Vikings is consistent with his 2014 season to date. Newton also doesn't have the weapons on offense that many of his peers around the league do. Continue to regard Newton as a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2. He is worth protecting in keeper and dynasty leagues.
