Jason McCourty may be forced to shift over to safety in Week 3 due to dwindling depth at the position. Starting strong safety Patrick Chung does not look likely to play after sustaining a concussion in Week 2. Backup Nate Ebner has also been limited in practice this week with a hip injury. Fantasy Impact
The Patriots run a lot of three safety sets and if they plan to do so next week McCourty may be playing some safety. The biggest beneficiary here still remains Duron Harmon who projects to fill in for Patrick Chung while he is out.
