Fantasy Impact
The team announced after the game that Powell's neck injury was considered serious, and now his season is likely over after being placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. Neck injuries are, of course, taken very seriously, and it is now likely that Powell will not return to the Jets at any point this season. With Powell out, fellow running back Isaiah Crowell should see more touches, while Trenton Cannon will likely see an uptick in usage, as well.
