O.J. Howard out for the season

by FantasyPros Staff | Buccaneers Correspondent | Tue, Nov 20th 4:25pm EST

In a surprising turn of events, O.J. Howard has moved from possibly missing a game or two to being placed on the injured reserve. The Bucs are expected to use Cameron Brate as their starting tight end moving forward. (Rick Stroud on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

O.J. Howard can obviously be cut and his direct replacement in the NFL is suddenly not only the best tight end pickup, but perhaps the best waiver wire pickup overall this week. With the pace and efficiency of Tampa Bay's offense, Brate should be regarded as a top 8 rest of season tight end for fantasy purposes.
