Denver will also be paying half of Keenum's $7 million contract. With the recent addition of Joe Flacco the Broncos no longer had a use for Keenum so they at least get some salary relief in this deal. As for Washington, Keenum will play out 2019 as a placeholder for Alex Smith. There isn't any fantasy upside here.
