The Lions had an opening for their slot receiver after the Golden Tate trade last year, and Amendola will fit right in. He had an unproductive year overall with the Dolphins last season, with just 59 catches for 575 yards and one touchdown. But he's now played in 15 games in back-to-back seasons, and he should find success, if healthy, in Darrell Bevell's offense.
