Fantasy Impact
In an interview given to ProFootball Talk PM, Cooper said that one of his goals for 2019 was to become the first NFL receiver to go for 2,000 yards in a single season. He played just nine games for Dallas last season, racking up 53 receptions for 725 yards and six TDs. Those numbers work out to 94 receptions, 1,289 yards, and 11 TDs over a full 16-game schedule, which would have been good for WR8 in half-PPR scoring in 2018. Cooper’s goal is lofty to be sure, considering the run-first nature of the offense with Ezekiel Elliott, though a WR1 finish for fantasy purposes seems very realistic.
