An unnamed AFC National scout gave a backhanded compliment to East Carolina QB Shane Carden, stating "[Carden] looks like he's throwing a javelin, and he is on the wrong side of where we want quarterbacks to be in terms of athleticism, arm strength and accuracy, but his intangibles are way up there. The pyramid of athletic success starts with a foundation of, surprisingly, actually being athletic, which is looks like Carden is not. While a weak QB class will likely inflate his draft status, Carden profiles as a long-time backup QB, which you shouldn't be rostering in even the deepest of dynasty formats.
