Ty Montgomery rushed twice for seven yards and caught his only target for five yards in the Jets' preseason loss to the Giants.

Montgomery allegedly second on the depth chart, but it seems unlikely he'll get much work with Elijah McGuire also on the roster. McGuire finished 2018 strong, and Montgomery has not made much noise since being in Green Bay. However, if he does get meaningful touches, he could have marginal value. If Bell goes down, though, it shouldn't be considered anywhere near a certainty that Montgomery would be a workhorse.
