Sweeney is unlikely to be a primary pass-catcher on the team this season, as that role would figure to go to third-round pick Dawson Knox over the seventh-rounder Sweeney. Sweeney was a solid receiver in college, so may surface down the line, but his outlook for 2019 is unexciting.
