Whitney Mercilus had a well-rounded performance, recording five total tackles, one sack, one pass break up, and an interception of Drew Brees in the red zone.
Fantasy Impact
While the loss of Jadeveon Clowney certainly hurts the Texans defense as a whole, it allows Mercilus to step up and be more of a pass rush presence. He is worth a look as an IDP option.
