In 2014, Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford increased his wins and completion percentage while throwing less interceptions, but it was hard to ignore that the Lions' offense was less potent than in recent years. It would be surprising to hear anything else from Mayhew at this point, but it is definitely encouraging to hear that he doesn't think that we are seeing a "new" Matt Stafford that puts up pedestrian numbers. The Lions have a lot of question marks this offseason, but there should be very little shuffling among his key offensive weapons. Don't be surprised if Stafford has a big year.
