New York Jets defense quiet on MNF

by Mark Leipold | Jets Correspondent | Wed, Oct 23rd 6:15pm EDT

The New York Jets allowed 31 points (plus a safety on offense, but that shouldn't count) and 323 yards of offense in their Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots. The defense did not record a sack but did intercept Tom Brady once.

Fantasy Impact:

The Jets didn't make much noise on defense, nor did they do much to disrupt the Patriots at all. It was not a great performance all-around, though one was not expected. The Jets could be used in a desperation situation next week against the Jaguars, but only that. Their defense simply lacks the playmakers to provide any confidence for fantasy purposes, even in good matchups.
