Laviska Shenault Jr. (core) will undergo surgery

After running a 4.59 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, it was revealed that Shenault will undergo surgery to repair a core muscle injury. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Shenault pulled up at the end of his 40-yard dash run, which did seem suspicious. We now know that it was because of this injury that he has apparently been dealing with for quite a while now. While surgery to repair the issue is the right move, it's very concerning with Shenault's lengthy injury history. He's the definition of a boom-or-bust pick in Dynasty rookie drafts with the injury concerns, the added weight, and the 40-yard dash time.
