Marquise Lee opts out of 2020 season

Lee becomes the latest Patriot to opt out of the 2020 season. He joins Marcus Cannon, Brandon Bolden, Patrick Chung, Dont’a Hightower, Danny Vitale and Najeen Toran. Lee became a first time father in February. “We just feel like it wasn’t smart for us to go out and play this year,” said Lee. The 28-year-old’s one-year contract will roll into 2021. Lee hauled in three catches for 18 yards on four targets across six games for the Jaguars in 2019.
