Auden Tate ‘offensive MVP’ at Bengals Camp

by Adam Koffler | Mon, Aug 24th 3:04pm EDT

According to ESPN Bengals beat writer Ben Baby, WR Auden Tate is the “early frontrunner for offensive MVP at Bengals camp.” (Ben Baby on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This comes just days after Tate drew praise from head coach Zac Taylor. With both A.J. Green and Tee Higgins dealing with their respective hamstring injuries, Tate has been able to step up and shine in their absence. If this continues, given there are no preseason games, look for Tate to start the season with a relatively high snap count. He could very well win the WR3 job over Higgins, who was once thought of as the favorite to win the outside job alongside A.J. Green with Tyler Boyd manning the slot. The arrow is pointing up for Tate, who is currently just the ECRs WR94.
